My mother and I share this account & my husband, daughter & best friend complete our "reading circle." PaperBackSwap has opened up a whole new world of reading to each of us! While not all five of us read each book, at least two of us will, most often three, sometimes four of us will read the same book - making a $2.13 book a very good bargain, indeed!

Mom & I have been avid readers all our lives. Fortunately, we enjoy the same genres and authors! We  enjoy well-written romance novels, i.e. Nora Roberts, Sandra Brown etc. We also enjoy other books "for women" such as those by Maeve Binchy, Barbara Delinsky, Anne Rivers Siddons, Dorothea Benton Frank, Cassandra King, etc.

We enjoy political intrigues, i.e., Nelson DeMille (a real favorite!), Robert Ludlum, Daniel Silva, etc. AND, we enjoy crime thrillers, i.e., Robert Parker, Lee Child, Jeffery Deaver, Steve Martini, Robert B. Parker, etc.

Probably our favorite genre, however, is good, well-researched historical fiction. Favorite authors are Sharon Kay Penman, Dorothy Dunnett, James Clavel, Ken Follett, Bernard Cornwell and Diana Norman.

My husband & I live in a small town in South Central Oklahoma. We have two grown sons (& daughters-in-law), two grandchildren and one daughter who recently graduated with a degree in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma.

When not reading (and those times are rare indeed!), I enjoy counted cross-stitch embroidery, crochet projects & gardening.

We love Paperback Swap!! It gives us great pleasure to pass on books to other people, and, of course, it is great fun to receive books in the mail!!
